Impersonation is the most common way Indian investors lose money to fake advisors. Scammers copy the name, photo, and SEBI registration number of a genuine Research Analyst or Investment Adviser, then run look-alike Telegram channels, WhatsApp groups, and UPI IDs. Because the borrowed details look real, the only reliable check is the official SEBI registry itself.

We do not rank advisors, show past performance, or handle your money. We only state what the registry says — and the exact date we last synced it — so you can confirm whether an advisor is really registered before you act on a tip.

Enter any detail you have: a name, social handle, UPI ID, phone number, or an INH / INA registration number. If it matches a registered advisor, you see their verified profile. If the handle is absent from the SEBI registry, you see a clear warning instead of a false sense of safety.
